Calgary Scientific and Visus Strike a Strategic Technology Partnership
Integration of Calgary Scientific's clinical applications into the JiveX Enterprise PACS solutions
Calgary, AB - March 31, 2010 - Calgary Scientific Inc., a leading innovator in advanced visualization solutions and web-enabling platforms, has partnered with VISUS, a leading supplier of image management solutions. The agreement includes tightly integrating Calgary Scientific's clinical applications, driven by intuitive workflow, into the JiveX Enterprise PACS solutions. The two companies will deliver a full suite of applications including the incorporation of Calgary Scientific's ResolutionMDTM product suite, built on PureWebTM, into the JiveX product suite. The agility of both companies has resulted in a rapid agreement on commercial terms that will result in a seamless integrated solution that will continue to be delivered over the web.

Calgary Scientific and VISUS will integrate the following products into the JiveX product suite:
ResolutionMD Virtual Colonoscopy, ResolutionMD3D, ResolutionMD Coronary Analysis, ResolutionMD Vessel Analysis, ResolutionMD Calcium Scoring, ResolutionMD Ventricular Function (CT), ResolutionMD Ventricular Function (MR), ResolutionMD Ventricular Function (CT and MR), ResolutionMD Cardiac (CT), and ResolutionMD Cardiac (CT and MR). This rapid integration will add significant additional capabilities to the end users, and will not change the look and feel of the existing JiveX product suite or change the way an end user interacts with it. As part of the agreement, the two companies have identified a mutually agreed upon commercial luminary site in Europe for the new product to be deployed and showcased.
