Seaman Family Medical Centre

The Neuroinformatics research team at the Seaman Family Medical Centre in Calgary, Alberta is focused on developing new analytical methods to identify and extract information from medical images. The goal is to provide quantitative, objective, and reliable assessments to help improve the specificity and (to a lesser extent) the sensitivity of modern medical imaging.

York University

The mathematics department at York University in Toronto is focused on advanced time/frequency analysis techniques and applying them to solve industry problems. Calgary Scientific in partnership with MITACS is sponsoring research led by Dr. Man Wah Wong and Dr. Hongmei Zhu in time/frequency based automated lesion quantification for CT images.
