Dr. Byron Osing
CEO & Chair
Dr. Byron Osing, is the CEO/ Chair, and primary driver behind the direction of Calgary Scientific. Dr. Osing was co-founder/CEO of Telebackup Systems Inc. which was acquired by Veritas Software; also co-founder/CEO of Launchworks/180 Connect, acquired by DirecTV approaching 5000 employees. Previous winner of Canada’s Top 40.
President & CTO
Mr. Lemire directs engineering at Calgary Scientific, is a chief contributor in the product vision for PureWeb and manages the Calgary Scientific patent portfolio. Mr. Lemire is former CTO of Autodesk Inc. Infrastructure Division, where he helped grow the business to a $200 million enterprise.
VP Global Sales - Healthcare Solutions
Mr. Marshall has a 17-year track record of developing OEM relationships with global healthcare leaders that result in multi-million dollar revenue growth and increased profitability. Formerly, Mr. Marshall was VP Global Sales & Marketing at InfiMed Inc., and Senior Director Global Sales at Cedara Software.
Mr. Colombo oversees all areas of Calgary Scientific’s marketing strategy, branding, communications and demand generation. Mike brings over 20 years of experience connecting marketing strategies and sales execution. Prior to Calgary Scientific, Mike spent 13 years with design software leader Autodesk in a variety of marketing leadership positions.
Mr. Trotter directs the Financial, Administrative and Human Resource side of Calgary Scientific. Mr. Trotter brings 17 years of financial experience in the roles of Canadian Controller and Vice President of Finance. 12 of those years have been with Public Companies such as TeleBackup Systems Inc., VERITAS Software Corporation and Fortune 500 Company Symantec Corporation.
VP of Research
Glen is responsible for strategic planning and execution on new customer opportunities and emerging technologies in healthcare. His career has focused on the commercialization of innovative medical devices and disruptive healthcare information technologies.
VP Alliances, Healthcare Solutions
Mr. Rountree is an authority in medical imaging technologies and contributes 25-years of sales and marketing leadership at Calgary Scientific. Formerly Senior VP of Imaging Systems at Philips Medical Systems NA, Mr. Rountree helped increase divisional revenue there from $450 million to over $3.5 billion annually.
VP Software Sales, Cloud and Collaboration Solutions (Non-Healthcare)
Mr. Mendel directs Calgary Scientific’s PureWeb sales beyond healthcare and contributes over 20 years of international business development experience from early stage and Fortune 500 software companies. Mr. Mendel was VP of World-Wide Sales and Marketing at Spime Inc., acquired by Trimble in 2012. Prior, he held VP of Sales and Business Development roles at Macromedia, Zi Corporation and Sybase.
VP Cloud and Collaboration (non-Healthcare)
Mr. Pigat leads product development and R&D for Calgary Scientific's Cloud & Collaboration Solutions group. Dan has been leading product groups for over 20 years, beginning his career at Procter & Gamble. He then managed the SMART Board and conferencing products at SMART Technologies Inc and developed and sourced new technologies for the UK market at Steljes Ltd.
