Dr. Byron Osing

CEO & Chair

Byron is the primary driver behind the direction of Calgary Scientific. He was co-founder/CEO of Telebackup Systems Inc. which was acquired by Veritas Software; also co-founder/CEO of Launchworks/180 Connect, acquired by DirecTV approaching 5000 employees. Previous winner of Canada’s Top 40.

 

Pierre Lemire

President & CTO

Pierre directs engineering at Calgary Scientific, is a chief contributor in the product vision for PureWeb and manages the Calgary Scientific patent portfolio. Pierre is former CTO of Autodesk Inc. Infrastructure Division, where he helped grow the business to a $200 million enterprise.

Dave Waldrop

EVP - Sales & Marketing

Dave leads  global sales and marketing and is responsible for strategic corporate and operational decisions. Dave has been leading global sales and marketing teams at the executive level for over 25 years, spending 18 years with Microsoft where he was a key driver  in building company wide initiatives in business development, product marketing and sales roles. 

 

John Marshall

VP, Global Sales 

John has a 17-year track record of developing OEM relationships with global healthcare leaders that result in multi-million dollar revenue growth and increased profitability. Formerly, he was VP Global Sales & Marketing at InfiMed Inc., and Senior Director Global Sales at Cedara Software.

 

Mike Colombo

VP, Design and Marketing

Mike oversees all areas of Calgary Scientific’s marketing strategy, branding, communications and demand generation. He brings over 20 years of experience connecting marketing strategies and sales execution. Prior to Calgary Scientific, Mike spent 13 years with design software leader Autodesk in a variety of marketing leadership positions.

 

Dean Trotter

Controller

Dean directs the Financial, Administrative and Human Resource side of Calgary Scientific. He brings 17 years of financial experience in the roles of Canadian Controller and Vice President of Finance. 12 of those years have been with Public Companies such as TeleBackup Systems Inc., VERITAS Software Corporation and Fortune 500 Company Symantec Corporation.

Lorelle Lapstra

VP, Healthcare Products 

Lorelle has worked in the healthcare industry for over 25 years and has extensive background in medical imaging software development and product management through a career that includes both technical and strategic business leadership.  

 

Dan Pigat

VP, Products - Cloud and Collaboration

Dan leads product development and R&D for Calgary Scientific's Cloud & Collaboration Solutions group. Dan has been leading product groups for over 20 years, beginning his career at Procter & Gamble. He then managed the SMART Board and conferencing products at SMART Technologies Inc. and developed and sourced new technologies for the UK market at Steljes Ltd.
